The clinic was a great success and we will turn it into an annual event. <br /> The UT wrestling club joined the NCWA yesterday allowing us to compete against several local colleges and travel nationally. We have the 149-235 weight classes filled and we will have them all filled in the spring. Our goal is to once again make Tennessee a recognizable name in the world of wrestling.<br /> We practice Monday, Wednesday, Friday, in HPER next to the climbing wall from 5-7. Coach Gray Simmons, a former olympian, will be teaching high school students advanced techniques. The fee is $25 and should be a great fundraiser for us. I know it's homecoming weekend but its a great way for us to get our name out there and become involved in the community. I need volunteers to set up friday after practice, help run the event saturday morning and then to take the mats back over after the clinic.
